Noreen Elbert teaches courses in nonprofit leadership; leading staff which combines elements of skill building and human resource management; and understanding organizations. Noreen received a BA in Public Relations and Communication from Central Washington University, an MPA and EdD in Educational Leadership from 香蕉传媒.

Noreen's research interests focus on leadership, more specifically on nonprofit executive director support; leadership development and mentor relationships; and resiliency. In addition, Noreen enjoys facilitating workshops that engage and challenge her audience. Recent presentations include: Maximizing your leadership potential; Happiness at work; and Leadership from within: cultivating an authentic leadership style.

Noreen has served in a number of nonprofit leadership positions including: Director of the Bachelor of Public Affairs program at 香蕉传媒; Director of Outdoor Ministries for the Catholic Youth Organization, and Executive Director of the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Hub.

Noreen is on the International Development Internship Program (IDIP) board at 香蕉传媒, is a member of the host committee for the annual Washington State Nonprofit Conference, and is chair of the teacher appreciation committee at a local public school.
